Residents of Wilbraham Road against vacant homes, and the Smith Family. Residents sitting in and risking arrest. Sammie and Kevin Smith are facing a forced eviction by US Bank Tr on Thursday May 25, 2017 at 9:00AM in the Sixteen Acres neighborhood of Springfield. Despite the family being able to pay rent to stay in the home, US Bank is moving to forcibly evict the family who has lived in that home for 20 years. Kevin and Sammie Smith refuse to be evicted without standing up and fighting back for their rights. Now along with Springfield No One Leaves the family is planning to hold an eviction blockade calling for an end to all no-fault evictions after foreclosure and on US Bank NA Tr to stop the eviction and accept their rent.
